Role: Pega Admin Location: NYC, NY (Onsite) Experience: 10 to 15 yrs, Job Description: As a Pega Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of Pega Platform environments. You will work closely with development teams, system architects, and business stakeholders to ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and security of Pega applications. Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Pega Platform environments, including application servers, database servers, and other infrastructure components. Monitor and optimize Pega application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance tuning strategies. Manage user access and security permissions within the Pega environment, including role-based access controls and data encryption. Deploy Pega application code changes and updates following established change management processes. Implement disaster recovery and high availability solutions to ensure continuous availability of Pega applications. Collaborate with development teams to deploy new Pega applications and updates, ensuring compatibility and compliance with best practices. Create and maintain documentation for Pega environment configurations, processes, and procedures. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users and development teams as needed. Stay updated on the latest Pega Platform features, patches, and upgrades, and make recommendations for their adoption. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of [8+] years of experience in Pega administration or a similar role. Proficiency in installing, configuring, and managing Pega Platform environments, including Pega Application Servers (PRPC), web servers, and database servers. Strong understanding of Pega application development principles, including ruleset management, application packaging, and deployment. Experience with performance monitoring and tuning of Pega applications, including JVM tuning, memory management, and database optimization. Knowledge of Pega security concepts, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
