Position: SAP Transportation Management SME Location: Remote (**Federal Project - Applicant must be a United States Citizen for Clearance purposes**) Duration: Long Term Contract. Visa: No H1B/CPT Interview: Video/Skype Job Description: Responsibilities Lead and manage SAP TM implementation projects within the Federal DOD environment. Configure SAP TM to align with transportation management requirements, including freight planning, execution, and settlement. Work closely with DOD personnel, transportation carriers, and logistics providers to coordinate transportation activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP TM with other DOD systems and processes. Ensure transportation operations comply with Federal DOD regulations and security protocols. Implement and maintain transportation security measures to safeguard sensitive DOD cargo and information. Analyze transportation processes and identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains. Recommend and implement best practices to enhance transportation management within the Federal DOD. Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on SAP TM functionalities and processes. Develop documentation and user guides to assist with system usage and troubleshooting. Generate reports and KPIs to monitor transportation performance and compliance. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP Transportation Management (TM) implementation and configuration. Experience working within the Federal DOD or similar government contracting environment is highly desirable. Strong understanding of transportation management processes, regulations, and compliance requirements. Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
