Supply Chain Planner and Process Analyst Location- Houston (or ready to relocate) Work preference- Hybrid (at least 3 days in office) Start Date- ASAP As a Supply Chain Planner and Process Analyst, you will implement supply chain planning software to optimize our clients supply chain planning and execution process. You will work with cross-functional teams to deploy end-to-end supply chain planning solutions. You will implement demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning and concurrent planning solutions to optimize a vertically integrated supply chain covering discrete and continuous process manufacturing. You will implement closed loop supply chain planning solutions, integrated with SAP (S/4 or ECC) and JD Edwards ERP systems. To excel in this role, you must possess strong analytical skills and an in-depth understanding of the manufacturing process, supply chain management, and customer demand trends. You must have experience in a leading supply chain software such as Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, OMP, or O9. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional internal and external consultant/supplier teams to ensure that supply chain planning is integrated with other business processes. Your ability to successfully execute the company's strategic goals and objectives will be critical to your success. Solution Implementation Implement forecasting, demand planning, inventory and supply planning for discrete and continuous process manufacturing. Implement scenario planning using concurrent planning approach. Implement closed loop integration between supply chain planning software and SAP (S/4 or ECC) and JD Edwards ERP systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply supply chain planning best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage supply chain planning data. Collaborate with external consultants and suppliers to implement supply chain planning software. Identify areas of opportunity to improve the demand and supply planning process and implement solutions to drive efficiencies. Train cross-functional teams and business unit supply chain teams in supply chain software functionality to improve adoption and usage. Implement solutions using Agile Development methodology. Identify, prioritize, and resolve supply chain planning software issues. Review and test software updates. Planning Operations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute supply chain strategies, including demand planning, supply planning, and inventory planning. Analyze historical sales data, customer forecasts, and market trends to create accurate demand forecasts. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure a stable supply of materials and products. Monitor inventory levels and develop inventory optimization strategies to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to supply chain planning, including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and service levels. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to optimize supply chain performance and mitigate risks. Collaborate with production teams to ensure that production plans are aligned with demand forecasts and inventory targets. Identify and manage risks related to supply chain planning, including supply disruptions, capacity constraints, and demand volatility. QUALIFICATIONS Expertise in supply chain planning, with a focus on forecasting, demand planning, inventory planning, and supply planning in discrete and continuous process manufacturing environment. Experience in implementing supply chain planning software such as Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, OMP, O9, etc. Kinaxis experience is a plus. Supply chain planning implementation experience with JD Edwards and SAP S4/Hana integration. Experience working with external consultants to implement supply chain planning software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify insights and opportunities for improvement. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. APICS certification is a plus. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE At least 10+ years of supply chain planning experience . Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, engineering, or a related field.
