ArcGIS Enterprise widget development (experience builder) GIS Developer Our client is in search of a talented GIS Developer to join their organization. This role will be pivotal in supporting the development and maintenance of applications, particularly focusing on our client's ArcGIS/ArcFM upgrade project. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with a small but dynamic team, contributing their expertise in C#, .NET, and GIS technologies to achieve project goals efficiently. GIS Developer Responsibilities The role involves participating in daily stand-up meetings, followed by assigned tasks for bi-weekly sprints. Primary responsibilities focus on code changes related to the upgrade project and assisting with high-priority production incidents. Software Development: Design, code, test, debug, and document complex programs and scripts using C#, .NET, and other relevant technologies. Develop program logic for new applications or enhance existing ones to meet evolving requirements. Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues. Application Support: Maintain application support processes and ensure timely resolution of support requests. Utilize application management tools to investigate issues, collect performance statistics, and generate reports. Incident and Problem Management: Prioritize and diagnose incidents according to established procedures. Investigate root causes of incidents and facilitate resolution, escalating unresolved issues as necessary. Assist in problem resolution, determining fixes and implementing preventative measures. Systems Design and Integration: Recommend and design system structures and tools that align with business needs and technical requirements. Contribute to technical visualization of proposed applications for customer approval. Define integration builds, configure hardware environments, and conduct integration tests. Functional Competencies: Intermediate knowledge of business goals, change initiatives, and user experience design frameworks. Proficiency in software configuration, database concepts, and infrastructure principles. Familiarity with service continuity planning and support. General Competencies: Strong customer-focus and accuracy skills. Effective risk management and decision-making abilities. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
