Role: Data Analyst Location: Hybrid-Deerfield beach, FL Length: Long term They will ask about migration and conversion SQL questions Need some Business Analysis skills Job description: Data quality Look at data to see if they want to convert all the data. How many distinct values. Maybe we dont need all of them. The project is a migration from mainframe to another tool. This role will help with a data migration. Look at data on mainframe, data quality, opportunities for improvement. Business rules, to convert data Extract data Data validation Query the source and target Run validations to make sure data was moved properly Reconciliation Strong SQL, need to be able to write SQL Azure SQL is a big plus (azure will be the source for the conversions) Talk to business, about their findings, asking for guidance, such as do you really want to covert all this data etc. Convert data from one system to another.
