Senior Db2 Systems Programmer Location - Remote USA Long term Please pay attention that for the role of DB2 Systems Programmer the validate candidates MUST have strong experience with MULTIPLE LPARS AND A Db2 SYSPLEX, it should be reflected in the CV This position is for an In-Office or Remote worker on a contract-for-hire basis. The qualified candidate will be expected to work a base 40 hours a week, Sunday afternoon/evening (15:00 - 23:59 Central Time) for production change implementation, and 24x7 on-call rotation. Please use the following points during searching the candidates: Experience Requirement: 1. Highly experienced DB2 System Software Engineer with 10+ years of dedicated full-time experience. 2. Emphasize the need for candidates who have worked extensively with DB2 in a large mainframe shop environment with multiple Sysplexes and Data Sharing. Professional Experience Assessment: 1. Assess candidates based on specific tasks and responsibilities rather than job titles. 2. Verify the candidate's level of involvement in DB2 Systems Programming tasks, such as installation, migration, configuration, and maintenance.
