The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MES technologies, particularly PAS-X, Syncade, and Pharmasuite, along with demonstrated leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Responsibilities: 1. MES Implementation and Integration: Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of MES solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and regulatory standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and manufacturing, to integrate MES with existing systems and processes. Develop and execute validation protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as GMP and FDA guidelines. 2. System Optimization and Maintenance: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within MES platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MES systems, ensuring minimal impact on manufacturing operations. Implement software upgrades and patches in coordination with IT and vendor support teams. 3. Data Management and Reporting: Design and configure data interfaces between MES and other manufacturing systems (e.g., LIMS, ERP) to facilitate seamless data exchange. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide real-time visibility into manufacturing performance metrics. Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, deviations, and opportunities for process optimization. 4. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure MES systems adhere to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal quality procedures. Participate in audits and inspections, providing documentation and support as needed. Implement change control processes to manage system modifications and enhancements. 5. Leadership and Collaboration: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior MES engineers and team members. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the MES team and across departments. Serve as a subject matter expert on MES technologies, providing guidance and support to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in MES implementation and support, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. Proficiency with MES platforms such as PAS-X, Syncade, and Pharmasuite. Strong understanding of GMP and FDA regulations governing pharmaceutical manufacturing. Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
