| Peoplesoft LEAD FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT to support state government client ONSITE reporting to Chelsea, MA 02118. They must be local to Boston already, no relocation! ROLE Peoplesoft LEAD FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT INDUSTRY State Government DURATION 12+ month Contract, probable extension LOCATION ONSITE reporting to Chelsea, MA 02108, candidates MUST BE IN BOSTON AREA! Visa: NO H1B, CPT & OPT POSITION SUMMARY The successful candidate will have a strong background in application development; complex hybrid architecture both physical and on cloud platforms; exceptional communication skills and experience collaborating on cross-functional teams; and the skills to effectively troubleshoot, prioritize, and resolve issues to ensure applications remain operational. This position will support daily activities for multiple functional areas and systems that support 24/7 operations and requires the candidate to collaborate with cross functional teams in a fast paced and fluid setting. The incumbent of this position supports a number of enterprise applications. The selected candidate will perform activities related to the analysis, design, testing, maintenance, and support of the HRCMS - Human Resources/Compensation Management System, an Oracle/PeopleSoft HR and Payroll application. Activities are conducted in conformity with EOTSS standards. The individual will facilitate change management activities between the project team and IT service groups; and participate in all phases of the project life cycle with emphasis on application design, fit-gap analysis, configuration, and thorough understanding of application interfaces. RESPONSIBILITIES Configure, Design, support development of enhancements to Peoplesoft HCM application. Stay abreast of the new releases of Images, tax updates and patches. Present new features delivered to the project governance board. Independently work on tasks end to end, take ownership from Design to Production migration including communication to various teams Handle all customer requests promptly within the organizations SLA. Ensure that products conform to Section 508 Accessibility requirements. Provide support to Business analysts in production support or new functionality fit-gap sessions. Collaborate with internal/external teams to ensure development, configuration and implementation is consistent with user specifications and perform follow-up as required. Advise Management on administrative and operating problems pertaining to system administration and management. Participate in all phases of application test scripting and testing. Provide best practice and approach to implementing new functionality. Ensure that the scheduled migrations are accurate and timely. Train the FTE Staff in the new features QUALIFICATIONS Required 7+ years of Experience in Peoplesoft HCM Implementations Required 4+ years of leading business fit-gap session and requirements development. Expert in providing demos of new features and functionality.
