Key responsibilities include optimizing database access, performing backup and recovery, configuring database parameters, and aligning databases with logical data models. Candidates must have substantial experience in DB2 LUW administration, excellent SQL skills, and a strong background in Data Manipulation Language (DML) and Data Definition Language (DDL). They should also be proficient in data management concepts like normalization and data modelling.
