Good understanding of modern software architecture e.g. real-time platforms, rest APIs etc. Understanding of next generation messaging technologies e.g. Kafka. Practice TDD and BDD engineering techniques. Understanding of relational databases. Understanding of cloud platforms e.g. AWS. Understanding of Java IOC frameworks such as Spring or Guice. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of experience in software development of Java. Prior experience working at a large tier global financial institution or trading technology firm. (Preferred Qualification) Understanding of Equities and Fixed Income.
