Job Title : Power Platform Center of Excellence/ Lead Location : Pittsburgh, PA (Remote) Interview : Video Interview Job Description: Role: Power Platform Center of Excellence Lead Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Remote) Type of Hire: 3 weeks contract Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Lead to spearhead the establishment and management of our Power Platform CoE. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the adoption, governance, and best practices of Power Platform solutions across the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, deep technical expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform, and a passion for empowering business users through low-code/no-code solutions. Key Responsibilities: Establish and lead the Power Platform Center of Excellence, including defining its vision, mission, and goals. Develop and implement governance frameworks, policies, and standards for Power Platform usage, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, security, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging Power Platform solutions to drive process automation, innovation, and digital transformation. Provide leadership, guidance, and training to citizen developers and business users on best practices, standards, and techniques for building scalable and maintainable Power Platform solutions. Drive the development and maintenance of reusable components, templates, and accelerators to streamline solution delivery and promote consistency and efficiency. Act as a subject matter expert on the Microsoft Power Platform, staying current with platform updates, new features, and emerging trends, and providing recommendations for their adoption. Partner with IT teams to integrate Power Platform solutions with existing systems, ensuring seamless interoperability and data integrity. Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness and impact of Power Platform solutions, and provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the Power Platform community, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams. Qualifications : Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a focus on low-code/no-code development platforms and enterprise application development. Proven experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. Strong understanding of low-code/no-code development principles, best practices, and methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams. Solid understanding of IT governance, security, and compliance requirements, with experience in establishing governance frameworks and policies. Experience in leading organizational change initiatives and driving cultural transformation towards citizen development. Relevant certifications in Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate) are highly desirable.
