 to support change management/ enablement for the BPSI program, within the metropolitan council.

The purpose of change management consultant is to implement strategies for effecting change, controlling change, and helping adapt to change

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Change Management Consultant to join our team and support the Business Process Systems Integration (BPSI) Program within the Metropolitan Council. As a Change Management Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in implementing strategies for effecting change, controlling change, and helping the organization adapt to the transformational changes introduced by the BPSI program. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring successful integration of business process systems while minimizing disruptions and maximizing stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive stakeholder analysis to identify key individuals and groups impacted by the BPSI program.

Assess the change impact on stakeholders, business processes, and organizational structures.

Develop and execute a detailed communication plan to keep stakeholders informed about the BPSI program's objectives, progress, and benefits.

Design and deliver training sessions and educational workshops to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to adapt to the changes introduced by the BPSI program.

Establish a network of change champions within the organization to advocate for the BPSI program and drive engagement among stakeholders.

Implement feedback mechanisms to gather input from stakeholders and make necessary adjustments to change management strategies.

Secure visible and active support from senior leadership for the BPSI program and align it with organizational goals.

Identify potential risks and obstacles to successful change implementation and develop mitigation strategies to address them.

Recognize and celebrate milestones achieved during the BPSI program implementation to foster a sense of accomplishment and momentum.

Continuously review and improve change management strategies based on lessons learned and evolving organizational needs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Change Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in change management roles
, preferably in large-scale organizational transformations or system integrations.

Professional certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is highly desirable.

Experience working in the public sector or with government agencies is a plus.
