Video Interview is okay for non-locals. *** MUST Have recent Investment Banking and Market Data environment experience*** The database team is currently looking for a Database Engineer with experience doing DevOps to join our offshore team. Cloud Database RDS 2-3 years of experience with AWS Databases Experience in migrating data from on-prem to RDS and 53 Exceptional knowledge of AWS Console, AWS CLI S3, DMS RDS: Postgres, MYSQL, Aurora Postgres and MYSQL CloudWatch, Good knowledge of AWS SDK Redshift, Snowflake, Redis High Availability and disaster recovery MSKI Streaming/Messaging Architectures AWS IAM and integration with AW'S Identity Center Service Resiliency - HADR designs/solutions tied to business tiring - replication across AZs and Regions ETL Tools/MWAA Airflow AWS Glue EKS/ECR Knowledge of Non-relational AWS databases: DynamoDB, Document DB, Neptune, OpenSearch Load balancing Nice to have Experience in migrating data from on-prem into Snowflake, RedShift Automation/DevOps Experience Exceptional knowledge of Python, Terraform, Cloud Formation Lambda Enterprise level Application Integration experience on AWS Experience with Automation and monitoring within AWS Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) Ability to automate migration of data to RDS, S3, Snowflake, Redshift Interpersonal Required Skills Ability to think about a problem identify what we have and implement: solutions to solve the problem independently. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to think in and out of the box. Self-learner. Self-motivated, conscientious dedicated individual who works equally well independently or as a member of a team. Must be willing to take responsibility and ownership instead of waiting to be assigned work.
