Role: Oracle Hyperion Essbase consultant Location: NYC, NY (Only Locals with Valid Local ID) Duration: Contract Key Skills: Hyperion, Essbase Note: Only H1 Visa who can share PP (Dont share GC, GC EAD, H4, OPT/CPT) Role Description: Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, financial planning processes, and reporting needs. Design and architect Hyperion Essbase and Planning solutions that align with clients' business objectives and requirements. Configure Hyperion Essbase and Planning applications, including dimensions, hierarchies, calculations, and security settings. Develop and maintain Essbase cubes, outlines, calculation scripts, and business rules to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation processes. Implement data integrations and interfaces between Hyperion Essbase and Planning and other enterprise systems, such as ERP systems and data warehouses. Provide training and guidance to end users on Hyperion Essbase and Planning functionality, best practices, and usage. Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to optimize Hyperion Essbase and Planning applications. Support clients in resolving technical issues, troubleshooting errors, and enhancing system functionality. Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in Hyperion Essbase and Planning technology and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Hyperion certification) is a plus. Proven experience (X years) in implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Hyperion Essbase and Planning solutions for financial planning and analysis. Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation. Hands-on experience with Hyperion Essbase, Planning, Calculation Manager, Smart View, and related Hyperion modules/tools. Proficiency in Essbase calculation scripting languages (e.g., MDX, Essbase Calculation Scripts) and Essbase database design. Experience with data integration tools and techniques for loading data into Hyperion Essbase and Planning applications. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to travel to client sites as needed for project engagements and meetings.
