Tasks include but are not limited to: Add new values to database tables, modify screens to include additional fields, maintain database dependencies and programmatic rules, address any impact or effects of the value changes on any other OPII system functionality, i.e., reports or behind-the-scenes functionality, and document/update specifications, data relationships, and maintenance efforts and findings. Our software development team includes offender (inmate) developers. We have a fully functioning software development shop (not a rehab program) inside the Jefferson City Corrections Center. Our RPG programmer will work with our offender developers in the same manner they would with any other software development team troubleshooting, conferring, researching documentation, analyzing existing code, cross-checking work, etc. Additional Skills & Qualifications Communication Skills and ability to be a self-starter but also work well with teams.
