Job Title: Cloud Developer (AWS) Location: Remote Client: Akkodis Visa Type: USC/GC Job Description: We are seeking a talented Cloud Developer with expertise in AWS services, particularly Lambda, and strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript. As a Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications and services leveraging AWS technologies. You will work closely with our development team to implement scalable and reliable solutions that meet our business requirements. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications on AWS. Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, and others to build scalable and secure solutions. Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code using Node.js and JavaScript. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure high performance, availability, and stability of cloud applications. Implement best practices for cloud security and compliance. Troubleshoot and debug cloud-based applications as needed. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud development. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in cloud development with AWS services. Strong programming skills in Node.js and JavaScript. Experience with serverless architecture and AWS Lambda. Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs. Solid understanding of cloud security principles and best practices. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Good communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts clearly. Preferred Skills: Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with frontend development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases. Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
