In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough audits of customer data center suites to ensure compliance within ITAM goals and processes. Key Responsibilities: Conduct Audits: Perform regular audits of data center suites to ensure accuracy of hardware physically racked in a cabinet is being accounted for in our DCIMB (Data Center Inventory Management Database). Verification: Verify the integrity and accuracy of audited devices stored within the data center suites, ensuring proper updates in DCIMB and asset tag placement on all devices. Documentation and Reporting: Document audit findings, discrepancies, and recommendations for improvement. Prepare comprehensive reports for management, highlighting areas of concern and suggesting corrective actions. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and facility management, to address audit findings and implement corrective measures. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices related to data center operations and security. Propose and implement improvements to audit processes and procedures. Requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent in technical field or project management preferred 4 or more years of experience in IT asset management Experience with multi-location coordination of technical resources Experience managing leased assets ServiceNow ITAM module experience preferred Certifications/Licenses ITIL Certification, ITAM, CITAM, CHAMP industry certifications preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Familiarity with data center infrastructure, networking concepts, and security Expert skills in Microsoft Excel Excellent skills in problem-solving Excellent skills in customer service Able to consider and support both strategic and practical implications for proposed course of action Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing Able to interact positively and work effectively with others (interpersonal skills) Able to organize time, energy, and resources effectively to achieve goals (organizational skills) Able to present a positive, energetic, and patient mentoring style Skill in leadership and coaching Must be able to read, write and speak English Keywords: information technology Opening for Data Center Auditor Location: Hillsboro, Oregon (Day 1 onsite) Rate: $34-hr on C2C [email protected] |
