| From: priyanka, Stellent IT [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: DevOps Architect Location: Roseland, New Jersey (Hybrid 2-3 days) Job Type: Contract Exp: 15+ Job Description: Architect/Engineer DevOps and Infrastructure: The primary objective of this role is to construct a DevOps platform essential for application deployment and maintenance in the cloud. This position uniquely bridges the gap between development and operations/engineering branches, fostering collaboration and coordination for optimal application stability. This role will collaborate with the following teams: Build Engineers: Responsible for constructing both classic and next-gen applications. DevOps Engineers: Responsible for developing CI/CD pipelines for the application, as well as enhancing deployment tools for cloud deployment. Application Database Administrators (App DBA): Responsible for optimizing database performance for the application. Duties: Lead and inspire the build and engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, ownership, and accountability. Architectural Responsibilities: Actively participate in the Architecture Group, providing expertise on long-term DevOps technology options. Assess and recommend different DevOps technologies and processes. Review database performance optimization strategies. Support the Performance team in investigations related to database performance. Support resilience, disaster recovery, and cloud strategies. Collaborate with other architects within the group. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have served as a DevOps architect for at least 15 years with around 10 years of experience in Azure/AWS. Familiarity with managing and administering applications deployed on the Windows platform is required. Additionally, the candidate should possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in developing applications using leading programming languages such as Java, R, Python, C++, and .Net. Extensive experience in the design and implementation of Cloud Architecture & Administration, DevSecOps, and SRE for Agile projects is necessary. Proficiency in leading containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, etc., is expected. Experience in writing Terraform/Cloud Formation scripts and Ansible playbooks is essential. Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, GIT, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm, JFrog Artifactory, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Liquibase is required. Experience working with SQL Server, MongoDB, or other leading databases is preferred.
