| Direct client position Position: Senior Data Architect Duration: 3 Years Location: Sacramento, CA(Online) Department: California Department of Fish and Wildlife Job Description: Demonstrates experience with the database(s) design of all the components and has an enterprise view and ensures each component/module work together to address the functional requirements. Demonstrates experience in data modeling and architecture. Demonstrates experience with data warehousing (traditional and cloud) and data governance. Hands-on experience in implementation and performance tuning. Hands-on experience with data engineering and ETL tools from multiple sources. Demonstrates experience with implementation of self-service business intelligence tools. Has in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, platforms and solutions as related to data architecture. Has the ability to work within an integrated and multi-cloud environment. Provides data architecture expertise in building the solution. Ensures the data solution addresses all the functional and non-functional requirements. Staff Mandatory Qualifications: The Senior Data Architect shall have at least 5 years of FTE experience within the last 10 years of data architecting enterprise technology solutions with a minimum value of $3M and at least 5,000 internal and external users (including the general public) within the public sector. The Senior Data Architect shall have at least 3 years of FTE experience within the last 7 years with the proposed technology to be implemented in the ERP Project. The Senior Data Architect shall have at least 3 years of FTE experience within the last 7 years with legacy data conversion, data migration, data implementation, and data quality standards. Staff Desirable Qualifications: The Senior Data Architect will possess and maintain enterprise architecture certification in one or more industry leading architecture framework(s). The Senior Data Architect has at 2 additional years of FTE experience within the last 10 years of data architecting enterprise technology solutions.
