Please find the requirement below , If you find yourself comfortable with the requirement please reply back with your updated resume and I will get back to you or I would really appreciate Title: Progress Developer Location: Grand Rapids, MI(Onsite) Visa: USC or GC Duration: Long Term Duties: Design, develop or modify software by using various programming languages depending on the product(s). Modify existing software to fix errors or develop new applications to improve the overall quality and functionality, or update integrations with other software. Required Skills 5+ years of professional experience working with Progress technology stack, including Progress 4GL, OpenEdge 11+ development and Progress Application Server (PAS) experience. Experience developing Progress-based applications, including database design, schema creation, and application development using Progress 4GL and ABL (Advanced Business Language) Experience in workflow analysis & design, business process reengineering, and systems optimization. Experience working with a complex database (OpenEdge, SQL, Oracle or similar) applications. Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting Progress applications and databases. Understanding of Progress application server administration, configuration, and deployment. Proficient in using SQL for Progress databases. Experience with Agile / Scrum. Experience in Java and JavaScript languages. Quick learner with ability to adapt to new approach/technologies in a dynamic environment. Ability to manage time appropriately, prioritize workload, and be very organized across multiple projects. Experience in enterprise application development and deployment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work within a large existing codebase. Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field. Software implementation experience is a plus. Experience in Unix/Linux development environment is a plus.
