| Hi, Position Title : E&S Business Analyst Location : Philadelphia,PA Primary Skills : P&C BA The Business Analyst role requires an advanced understanding of insurance workflows and systems. Will be a member of the Surplus & Specialty Lines team, which supports Underwriting, Claims and Billing & Collections. Surplus & Specialty Lines underwrites General Liability, Auto, and Excess/Umbrella lines of business across multiple industry verticals. The BA is a member of a cross-functional team that develops, enhances, and maintains systems that support business workflows. The BA leads discussions with business stakeholders regarding new requirements and guides the Scrum team through an analysis of the impact of any changes on existing systems. The details of these discussions are documented in User Stories along with acceptance criteria that the change must meet. Required Skills: 5+ years experience supporting underwriting operations and claims operations, particularly in General Liability and Excess lines of business. Extensive knowledge of P&C Excess & Excess and Surplus markets Familiarity with SQL querying, relational databases, Jira (JQL) Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Team player with excellent stakeholder management skills to build sustainable and productive alliances across the organization. Strong organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate, prioritize and manage multiple activities or projects throughout the day. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Experience operating within a diverse and global team composed of staff located in multiple locations and time zones. Customer and business focused. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to quickly learn new processes and concepts. Domain experience in Property & Casualty Insurance and Excess & Surplus lines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Technical Skills: Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, Blueworks, Lucidcharts SharePoint, Confluence, Jira Sapiens RapidSure policy administration system experience.
