Staff should be familiar with network terminology and be fluent such that they can converse easily with the network team around technical elements. Work with the current team and network manager of curate all current documentation and produce new documentation that weaves together a cohesive narrative and picture of the current network architecture and configuration Skills/Education: Bachelors degree in related field Minimum 5 years of experience in technical writing Prior IT knowledge and experience required Experience with Microsoft Office including Visio and Cisco products Expert communicator with ability to converse with technical team and communicate technical elements to a nontechnical audience Willingness to be onsite regularly Customer Overview: Commercial customer is seeking a technical writer to join their IT department. Scope of Residency: The Technical Writer will join our customer's IT department and help oversee a transition by interfacing with the team, documenting existing network architecture, and reviewing/documenting existing processes.
