Priority for local candidates Job Description Role: Analytics Data Modeler Employment Type: Fulltime/Contract Contract 6 to 12 months + Possibility of extension Work location: Remote/Onsite (mention no. of Onsite days) Onsite 2 days a week / 3 days remote @ Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. About the Role Trianz is looking for a Data Modeler who has experience in designing, developing, and deploying database models for application development to support business applications. Job Responsibilities Design, develop and deploy database models for application development to support business applications, ensuring system scalability, security, performance, and reliability. Perform data analysis and data modeling for operational applications and analytical databases. Be responsible for data classification, naming, design of the database, and the creation of DDL. Provide technical consulting for application teams for data naming, classification, design and handling as a part of the first line of defense for data controls in designing systems. Suggest and implement improvements in architecture, team processes and functions. Meet with client as required to provide delivery expertise and drive results. Take accountability to complete work on time and raise blockers and issues to ensure timelines are met. Ensure all deliverables are completed with a high satisfaction and build client and Trianz peer relationships to build trust and confidence. Based on past and current client execution, work with peers to lead in the development of point of views, new solutions, accelerators that will assist in driving results. Using your experience, provide leadership and guidance as needed with building out innovative solutions that will accelerate implementation and time to market for our clients. Required Skills 12+ years of experience in IT, Data Analysis, Data Manipulation, or related work. Hands on experience with Erwin Experience with databases and SQL Experience with dimensional modeling Understanding of data modeling best practices Full lifecycle experience in waterfall and agile development methodologies Intelligent but practical; you want to get things done and love simplicity. Required Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Required Experience Minimum 12 plus years of experience in d ata Analysis and data Manipulation.
