Role: Project Manager Location: Albany, New York Duration: 30 Months Job ID: HBITS-05-13386 Client: NY State Description Capital Improvement/Infrastructure ProjectCapital Improvement/Infrastructure Project Duties Use project management tools, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Visio to delegate staff assignments, track project status and determine time estimates. Use project management methodology and documentation to manage the project. Plan and facilitate all required project and technical meetings including demonstrations of application development progress. Provide regular status reports detailing project metrics, progress, and mitigation strategies underway to address concerns. PartnerwithBusiness Analyst to ensure the business requirements are elicited from Business owners and key stakeholders. Ensurerequirements are communicated,documented, addressed, and if approved, included in future project plans. Coordinate the creation ofend user documentation (i.e., business requirements documents, use cases, flow charts, report mock-ups, swim lane diagrams, prototypes, and screen designs)with Business Analyst. Coordinate thedevelopment of test plans and testingwith the Project Technical Lead. Act as facilitator and primary project manager formultipleprojects related to the OMHBusiness efforts;including projects related to implementation of applications or infrastructure changes. Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor. Adhere to all NYS Project Managementdirectives and processes. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 84 Months Experiencemanaging project from initiation through closeout maintaining project budgets, schedules, scope requirements, status reports, communication plans, and quality standards. 60 Months Experience managing multiple projects on varied platforms simultaneously. 60 Months Experience working on projects that required working with architecture team to comprehend technical requirements such as server and database requirements for multiple environments. 36 Months Experience managing Patient Management Systems (including but not limited to Patient Appointment Scheduling, Admission, Discharge and Transfer, and Clinical Documentation) which include interfaces to external systems (such as lab systems, data warehouse and pharmacy systems). 36 Months Experience managing remediation projects. 36 Months Experience managing projects with Application Programming Interfaces (API), and other interfaces that send and receive data between systems. 36 Months Experience managing projects to implement security to infrastructure, Web hosted applications and databases. 36 Months Experience managing building system/software updating.
