| Hello all Please help me with the suitable resumes for below role Job role: Data Base Engineer (locals) Location: Newyork/New Jersey (Locals only) Duration: 12 months C Minimum 12+ years of hands- on experience in database engineering Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered Job Description A successful candidate will serve as a database Engineer reporting to the Infrastructure Management division. This position is responsible for delivering and overseeing the multi-tenant databases and service offering as part of Infrastructure Modernization Project. The database Engineer will be responsible for leading projects and initiatives and making significant contribution to the technical design and implementation of the database platforms. This role offers the opportunity to work across teams and contribute to the database services while leading the charge for database solution across service delivery; and involves critical thinking and problem solving in concert with the utilization of industry standard best practices. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE. Ability to work independently. Experience in implementing/managing Oracle Databases in a RAC environment with at least 2 years of production support. Experience in Implementing Grid Infrastructure release 19 or higher on a Redhat Linux environment. Experience implementing ASM cluster Filesystem with knowledge of how to maintain it for successful operational delivery. Knowledge of Best Practices for adding a new disk to an ASM disk group. Experience patching grid infrastructure software. Familiarity with Oracle database resource manager. Familiar with Ansible/automation/scripting. Familiarity with huge pages on Linux. Experience supporting a high-availability production database. Experience in configuring/supporting Oracle Active Data Guard required. Experience in database architecture and design; Oracle Advanced Security Option; and Golden Gate for Oracle Replication Knowledge of working on cloud environments preferable AWS & AZURE. Participate in application/DB outage incidents during trouble shooting and provides solution and RCA. DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Familiarity with huge pages on Linux.
