Qualifications: At least 8 years of experience in Systems engineer including systems programmer, scripting, troubleshooting Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred Area of Study: Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Preferred Area of Experience: VMware SDDC Manager, VMware vSphere (vCenter Server & ESXi hosts), VMware vSphere Replication, VMware Tanzu for vSphere, VMware NSX or VMware NSX-T for Datacenter, VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle, VMware Aria Operations, VMware Aria Automation, VMware Aria Operations, VMware Aria Operations for Networks, VMware Workspace One, Zerto, Azure AVD Skill(s): 5+ years of experience designing, implementing and managing VMware-based infrastructure solutions Extensive hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation, including its components such as VMware vSphere, VMware NSX, VMware vSAN, VMware SDDC Manager and VMware Aria Strong understanding of networking, storage and virtualization concepts Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Python and/or Ansible Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) frameworks like Terraform is a plus Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues Strong verbal communication across audiences (such as technical coworkers, end users, and management) VMware certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) are highly desirable.
