Role : QA Automation Engineer Location : Culver city(Los Angeles), CA Job type : Contract/C2C Work : 5 days onsite [Automation QA team] : We need an automation engineer who can develop and execute automated test scripts using Python to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of Beats audio products. Design and maintain test frameworks and test suites for various Beats audio products. Collaborate with the development team to understand product specifications and develop appropriate test strategies. Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions and outputs. Continuously improve the automation strategy and coverage by keeping up with the latest testing tools and techniques. Skills Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes. Knowledge of source control systems, preferably Git. Familiarity with Bluetooth protocols or similar wireless technologies, and/or Sensors. Proven experience in testing Bluetooth products or similar wireless technologies. Experience in working with different operating systems, primarily Linux. Experience with bug tracking tools (i.e JIRA). Must-haves for Automation Engineer 3-5 years of experience in QA automation with a focus on test automation and framework development. Strong proficiency in Python programming. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Excellent debugging skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred for Automation Engineer Experience in testing HW. Experience in testing Bluetooth protocols/profiles. Timezone Culver City (Los Angeles) location and expected to work in office and lab - 5 days a week Success Criteria/Definition of Done All defect reports are written clearly with all applicable logs, timestamps, screenshots, etc. as required. All experiments in the queue are performed in a timely manner. All lab management tasks are performed in a timely manner. Communication with the team is clear, effective and timely.
