Title: Software Automation Engineer Location: Dearborn, MI 3-5 days onsite per week Duration : 1 Year Contract + Extensions Visa : No H1b/CPT Max Rate: $40/hr on c2c or 1099 Job Description Primary Skills Required : Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study. 3+ years of experience developing test automation scripts in Python 3+ years of software test experience on embedded OS platforms: Linux, QNX or Android 2+ years using version control system (e.g., Git/GitHub). 2+ years of professional experience with test design. Primary Skills Preferred : Experience Required : Advanced experience on Electrical Architecture, or Functional Architecture, or Software Architecture. Experience with test management tools (e.g., Test Rail), version control systems (e.g., Git/GitHub), issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA), CI environment (e.g., Jenkins), corporate Wiki (e.g., Confluence) Support Product Test execution in a hardware lab environment and work with cross functional team Understanding of automotive protocols like CAN/LIN/Ethernet Understanding of tools to capture and analyze automotive communication. Previous test experience with real-time or embedded applications.
