Role: QA Analyst with Data Protection & Payments Validation Location: San Antonio, TX (Only Locals with Valid Local ID) Duration: Contract Note: Only H1 Visa who can share PP (Dont share GC, GC EAD, H4, OPT/CPT) Role Description: Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate the functionality, usability, and security of software applications. Conduct thorough testing of data protection measures implemented within the software, including encryption, access controls, and data handling procedures. Perform validation of payment processing systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as PCI-DSS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize areas for testing based on project requirements and risk assessment. Document and communicate test results, including defects and issues found during testing, and work with development teams to resolve them. Participate in the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks to streamline the QA process and improve efficiency. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in quality assurance, data protection, and payments processing to continuously enhance testing strategies. Provide guidance and support to other team members on QA processes, methodologies, and tools. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience (X years) in quality assurance, with a focus on data protection and payments validation. In-depth understanding of data protection regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA, and experience applying them in a software development environment. Familiarity with payment processing standards and protocols, including PCI-DSS, EMV, and tokenization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to methodically troubleshoot issues and identify root causes. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium or Appium, is a plus. Certifications related to quality assurance, data protection, or payments security (e.g., ISTQB, CISSP, CIPP) are advantageous.
