Client is seeking a design-savvy Business Analyst experienced in the Telecom BSS/OSS domain, to play a key role within the Products team in shaping the development of productized Multi-Service E2E solutions. The productized solutions, built over the Vlocity platform and its suite of products, involve E2E Customer journeys for B2C/B2B Consumers and services such as Broadband Internet, Voice, Triple/Quad Play services, SIP, VPN etc.

Job Description

As part of this role, you will be responsible for developing detailed product requirements, business flows, design specifications and working closely with the Engineering & QE team in the development effort.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

Work closely with the Product Managers, Engineering teams, Customer Delivery teams, Customers/Partners and Industry experts to capture and understand the requirements for productization and elaborate them at a detailed level.

Collaborate with UI/UX teams to design the productized solutions that deliver the functionality required.

Use Vlocitys platform and suite of products to build optimal solutions following Vlocity standards and best practices.

Analyze the data requirements, structures and integration points of the flows, and create a mapping to Vlocity Industry objects in Salesforce or external REST endpoints.

Consult TM Forum standards (e.g. eTOM, SID etc.) as applicable to ensure standards compliance of product.

Maintain requirements in the form of User Stories/Acceptance criteria for each release of the Product, in support of the Product roadmap and Product releases.

Document your work using artifacts such as Process Flow Charts, Data Flow diagrams, Data Model diagrams etc.

Maintain ongoing collaboration with Engineering and QA teams to ensure correct interpretation and testability of the requirements.

Work with Quality Assurance to develop the Test Strategies and validate the Test Plans.

Work with the Documentation team to ensure design and capabilities are accurately represented in technical publications and training materials.

Contribute to the Product Roadmap and collaborate with Product teams for Vlocity Platform and Product enhancements as needed.

Develop expertise in the Telecommunication BSS/OSS domain & leadership skills in Agile software development.

Experience:

10+ years as a Vlocity Telecom/ Business Analyst with significant experience in delivering Telecom BSS/OSS software solutions for Communications Service Providers.

Experience with relevant Telecom BSS/OSS applications such as CRM, CPQ, EPC, Order Management etc.

Extensive experience in Business Analysis, Business Process Modelling, Information Modelling, Use Cases, User Stories, E2E solutioning and Component design.

Demonstrated ability to understand business strategies and application objectives, and translate those requirements into effective process and component designs.

Excellent design skills including the ability to critique visual elements and optimize user flows.

Prior experience working with Salesforce CRM is preferable.

Experience in UI/UX design is desirable.

Strong written, oral and visual communication skills with the ability to clearly document requirements, design and process assets using text, diagrams and videos.

Clear verbal communicator, with the ability to effectively interact within the team as well as with Customers/Partners in English.

Familiarity with TM Forum Frameworx standards (e.g. eTOM, SID)

Experience on designing and modelling tools (e.g. Lucid Charts, Visio, UML, etc.).

Self-directed and pro-active, with the ability to break down complex problems, assign actions and manage progress toward a deadline.

Highly motivated with the desire to work in a high vlocity start-up environment and with proven ability to achieve challenging goals and objectives.

Excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with teams within and outside.

Experience in software delivery methodologies preferably Agile.
