Title: Costpoint SME Location: Arlington, VA (90-95% Remote) - {Onsite for meeting purposes only} [Ned local] Duration: 9-month (C2H) Visa: US Citizen only Job Description: REQUIRED Top 3 Technical skills: Deltek Costpoint basically this is a Senior Costpoint Business Systems Analyst Costpoint SME Cognos SQL / SQL Server Somebody that is a little bit of both financial and IT side, but mostly the IT side Someone who did finance for a while and then moved into IT/Business Systems would be great. Years of experience 10 years of experience Soft skills: Ability to work independently. Not a lot of micromanaging. Somebody who is comfortable working with senior-level folks. Job Description Oversee the efficient and effective operation of corporate business applications, underlying architecture, and while also understanding the business functional requirements and trends. Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot and rapidly assess and address the risks, functional and technical issues, and their impacts on the financial application and the supporting IT infrastructure. Work with CFO, CPO and CIO organizations, senior leadership, and with the user community to integrate new applications, automate data flows, and simplify technical environment while increasing data integrity. Manage reporting environment and develop reports to support changing business needs using Cognos reporting tools. May lead small work teams on projects and assist in the development of resources within and across teams, supporting business application and infrastructure architecture layers. Work closely and provide guidance to those responsible for maintaining the corporate infrastructure, applications, and databases. Develop methods for implementing new products and customizations to existing applications, ensuring thorough testing and user acceptance is done prior to implementation. Experience developing databases and financial dashboards. Understanding of SQL and other tools to extract, transform and integrate data. Create and maintain training documentation and conduct training. Advocate change control and issue resolution processes, formal release schedules, and release management. Support internal control efforts in conjunction with ITGC compliance program. Foster and maintain positive relationships with Business Systems team members and customers across the enterprise inclusive of senior leadership. Perform other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelors degree in accounting, computer science, and/or management information systems or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Advanced degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in application and database design, development, implementation, and administration, including experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Knowledge of Deltek Application tools. Skills: Deltek Costpoint, Cognos, Time and Expense, SQL, System Implementations, Business Process Engineering, Costpoint Security, Training, Report Writing. Integrating Costpoint with other business systems or other ERP-related applications. Functional background on the most current versions of Costpoint, Time and Expense, SQL Server and Cognos. Ability to promote and be accountable for quality customer service. Ability to analyze situations accurately, utilizing a variety of analytical techniques to make well informed decisions. Other: Must have ability to obtain and maintain security clearance. On-call availability outside of normal working hours. Hybrid Work Eligibility: This position is eligible for hybrid work arrangements at the discretion of the Supervisor. Employees may be required to work at CNA headquarters or other work locations resulting in changes to the scheduled hybrid work arrangements.
