Looking On-site|| Cognos Developer with TM1 || Jersey City, NJ (onsite) Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Architect with expertise in Cognos TM1 and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to join our dynamic team. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient and scalable data solutions that support our FP&A processes and decision-making capabilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements, design data models, and ensure the successful implementation of data-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Data Architecture and Modeling: Design and develop data architecture that supports FP&A requirements and aligns with the overall data strategy. Create logical and physical data models, data flows, and data dictionaries to facilitate data integration and understanding. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across different data sources. 2. Cognos TM1 Implementation: Utilize your expertise in Cognos TM1 to design, develop, and maintain multidimensional models for financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting. Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into TM1 solutions that meet their analytical needs. Optimize TM1 performance to ensure efficient data processing and reporting. 3. Data Integration and ETL: Design and implement processes to integrate data from various source systems into the data warehouse or TM1 cubes. Ensure data quality and consistency during the process. 4. FP&A Support: Work closely with FP&A teams to understand their reporting and analysis requirements. Provide technical expertise in building financial reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses using Cognos TM1 and other reporting tools. 5. Data Governance and Security: Implement data governance policies and procedures to maintain data quality, privacy, and security. Ensure compliance with data regulations and best practices. 6. Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze data architecture and TM1 system performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and scalability improvements. 7. Documentation and Training: Create and maintain documentation for data models, data integration processes, and other relevant architectural components. Provide training and support to end-users on data tools and best practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field. Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role with a focus on financial data and Cognos TM1. Strong proficiency in Cognos TM1, including model building, rules, turbo-integrators, and TM1 Web. Knowledge of FP&A processes, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Experience with data modeling tools and techniques. Proficiency in ETL processes and data integration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with data governance principles and data security best practices. Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and stay updated with industry trends.
