Job Title: QA test engineer Type: Contract Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid) JOB DESCRIPTION: The main duties are: Build and Maintain Automation testing frameworks for applications (web, client, server, and cloud) using JMeter and Selenium Understand design specifications and develop high-quality test plans and automation. Convert user stories to Manual/automated tests that can be reviewed by peers Responsible for the review, setup and execution of test plans and test cases, both manual and automated. Find the failures and root causes of issues to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product to customers. Participate in continuous delivery and deployment, take ownership, and strive to become a better problem solver Participate in software and system performance analysis, tuning, and demand/capacity planning for business critical, large scale, and high availability applications. Provide guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members. Using software quality assurance tools and processes. Software testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools. Work with global teams to capture requirements and co-architect solutions.Requirements: Bachelor;s or masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. 5+ years strong QA experience. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
