Role: Embedded Lead Engineer Location: Windsor, CT (Onsite) Visa: USC/ GC ONLY Job Overview: To deliver medium to high degree of complexity project tasks On-time, within schedule, of the required quality level, to customer satisfaction using appropriate processes, tools and standards in an efficient manner with minimum guidance and be an accepted knowledge expert in his/her skills and technically lead technical activities. Key Responsibilities : Owns Module level Design and Module level Non-Functional requirements of Embedded Projects. Achieve the required Optimization required in a memory and/or MIPS constraint system, Control algorithm development, Functional modeling and simulation, Mathematical modeling and analysis Leverage technical knowledge to acquire more projects through ongoing and pilot projects Building collateral (project profiles on KM and support to Marketing) Should be able to leverage and use the available tools for dev, test and debugging. Evaluate tools which can be used in the projects Plan own work, estimate time for completion of individual module, set deadlines/milestones to deliver project tasks On-time, within allocated hours, of required Quality Participate in technical interaction with customer to understand project specifications and requirements and involve in technical proposal preparation Qualifications: Technical - Capture and document Module level requirements from Embedded perspective for project - Drive System level detailed design. - HIL test execution, Identification of Input data set and Determine output variables - Control Algorithm Development Contribution to Embedded Center of Competency (CoC) - Identify and present upcoming competency requirements for the projects - Drive competency plan at Project level and drive team competency improvement.(S) - Conduct Training at DU Level Thought Leadership & Technology Leadership - Value Generation - Reusable Component development - Support Marketing team in coming up with Technology contents - Patents, International papers and conference presentations (S) - Author and publish whitepapers and point of view in industry forums / global forums (S) Business Growth / Contribution - Effort estimation for module from embedded perspective - Supporting Capacity building and Interviews - Participation in Proposals and Technical solutions (S) Quality, Reviews & Improvement - Drive Code quality at project level. (parameters to be identified) - Comply to QMS (non compliance report) - QMS Compliance at Project Level and achieve defined quality parameters (S) Customer Satisfaction - Direct responsibility of CSAT w.r.t Technical execution - First of project Success Financial / Delivery / Task Execution - Billability - Guide and Support Team in Completing their assigned Activities Additional Job Requirements : -Experienced in selection and analysis of Power Supply components. -Experienced in designing Low Voltage Power Supplies.
