As we discussed on the phone,

Management need someone to come into the group and help organize, plan, and prioritize the work the team is doing.
This role would be CRUCIAL in helping management understand and communicate the status of the work out to the appropriate stakeholders.
It's not a traditional Agile PM role, they aren't managing a "start-to-finish" project. They are more focused on customer service and helping management understands the status of the TRIAGE and RESOLUTION of the issues that are being worked on by the group.
Think of this role as the single point-of-contact that management would go to when he needs to understand the status of something.
The ideal candidate would have some background in project leadership, background in customer service, excellent communication skills, excellent risk and change management skills.
Should have a background working with web and mobile applications.
