PLEASE PUT ALL SUBMITTALS IN SEPARATE ORIGINAL EMAIL This is an URGENT need for a contract Lead UX Designer/Developer to work with the Custom Solutions and integration (CSI) team. Skills and experience for the role Must Have Strong Preference A Plus to Have User research: 3-5 years of experience conducting user research to gather insights, identify pain points, and understand user needs X Design: 3-5 years of experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for accessible and reusable components and patterns within a Design System X Development: Experience with software application front-end development X Testing: Experience working with different testing methodologies to ensure solutions meet user needs (User Experience Testing, Accessibility Testing, User Acceptance Testing) X Leading projects or teams: Proven leadership experience managing people, processes, and/or projects X Agile methodology: Experience working with Agile project methodology within every aspect of the software/product development lifecycle (partnering with business analyst, graphic designer, developers, quality assurance testers, and technical leads) X Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with product owners, designers, developers, and other stakeholders (communicating with technical and non-technical staff, communicating with peers and leadership) X Documentation: Experience in technical and functional documentation (design guidelines, component usage, design libraries, and Design System best practices) X Trend analysis: Demonstrated ability to stay up to date with the latest UX trends, tools, and methodologies to ensure the solutions and practices remain modern and user-friendly X Managing people: Experience managing people X Extensive knowledge or experience: 5 or more years of experience working in a technical role supporting user experience X Description of work: User Research: Conduct user research to gather insights, identify pain points, and understand user needs related to the Design System Design: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for components and patterns within the Design System Development: Completing the front-end development for custom software applications Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Owner, UI designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the Design System is holistic, cohesive, and user-centric Design Testing: Utilize various testing methodologies to validate design solutions and ensure they meet user needs and expectations. Documentation: Assist in documenting design guidelines, component usage, and best practices to ensure consistency and clarity for all users of the Design System. Feedback Integration: Actively seek feedback from peers, stakeholders, and users, and iterate on design solutions based on this feedback. Trend Analysis: Stay updated with the latest UX trends, tools, and methodologies to ensure the Design System remains modern and user-friendly. Accessibility: Design with a focus on inclusivity, ensuring that components and patterns adhere to accessibility standard Notes: The Senior UX Designer/Developer must have experience with a user centered design process, as well as the ability to understand user needs and translate them into elegant solutions. The resume should demonstrate their proficiency with UX tools and methodologies, and clearly indicate experience with wireframing, prototyping, and user testing. They want a DESIGNER with DEVELOPMENT skills; not the other way around.
