Position: Investment Banking Business Analyst Location: : Hybrid (New York City Metropolitan Area ) Duration: 6+ months contract (Possible extension) Visa: Only USC/GC Interview: Video/Skype Rate: $40/hr-$45/hr Job Description: - Responsibilities: Provide support to the Global Heads of Healthcare and the Healthcare COO in a fast-growing and evolving business environment. Work with senior bankers to track deal opportunities and revenue. Maintain and implement proprietary databases used to track M&A activity. Coordinate weekly committee calls and approvals. Track and update coverage lists. Assist in organizing Healthcare conferences. Prepare deal-focused marketing materials. Liaise with external financial data firms. Act as point of contact for data on Healthcare transactions and wider market data. Work will be both on the business and support functions side and will cover, among other things, pipeline, market research, graphic presentations, reporting, and administration. Required Experience and Skills: 2-5 years of experience Prior experience in banking/finance is preferred. Strong academic record Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented approach to tasks with a focus on accuracy and the ability to add insight. Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is essential. Proven ability to multitask and manage a variety of projects simultaneously. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills.
