| Pega Architect Itasca, IL USC or GC This is a 6-month contract to hire position . This role is hybrid; Tuesday and Wednesday in the office (Itasca, IL). Overview: Our client provides insightful and strategic commercial insurance claims management services. The ideal candidate will create technical and business solutions to produce best in class outcomes. WHAT YOULL DO: Design and build applications for reusability across multiple lines of business. Work business stakeholders and development team to provide business solutions from inception to operation. Apply best practices, understand application debugging, performance tuning and system maintenance techniques, and address security/access requirements in an application. Manage vendor relationships Resource planning and financial accountability Foster and enable software craftsmanship and innovation. WHAT YOULL NEED: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related engineering degree or equivalent work experience. 8+ years experience in PEGA software development. Certification is a huge plus PEGA Developer: Sr. System Architect. Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery Knowledge areas: Digital process automation Data management User experience design Security Preferred: Experience within the insurance vertical or similar. Demonstrable knowledge of software design patterns, algorithms, data structures and modern programming techniques . Certification is a huge plus PEGA Developer: Sr. System Architect.
