| Dear Vendors Please share resumes for below Req Job Role: Cybersecurity Assessment Consultant Location: Mayland (100% Remote) Duration: 9 Months contract REQUIREMENTS Six Sigma Green Belt and one or more cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CISSP) Expert knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and related standards (NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171). Ability to function as a consultant to other IT groups on cybersecurity matters as a recognized expert and to lead cross-functional teams in making sound risk-based decisions. Working technical knowledge of cybersecurity, as well as industry trends. Experience in developing cybersecurity policies and standards. Knowledge of industry-standard risk/control frameworks. Ability to develop predictive models and/or other similar value-added functionality. Key Responsibilities: Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments as per the scope outlined in the solicitation document. Measure the organization's controls against NIST CSF control categories, NIST 800-53, and NIST 800-171 standards. Utilize Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) rating definitions to score controls. Review previous years' assessment data to measure year-over-year performance. Utilize various techniques/methodologies including staff interviews, questionnaires, documentation review, and other relevant information to complete the assessment. Stay updated with any modifications to NIST assessment requirements or control frameworks and incorporate them into the assessment as necessary. Review and evaluate the Vulnerability Management Program processes, procedures, and scanning platform. Provide recommendations for improving vulnerability identification, reporting, and management processes. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to communicate assessment findings and recommendations effectively. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism throughout the assessment process.
