I am reaching out to you on an exciting job opportunity with one of our clients COMPLETE JOB DESCRIPTION IS BELOW FOR YOUR REVIEW: Google Cloud Architect Minneapolis, MN Hire Type: Contract we would like to broaden the search by looking for Cloud Architects with AWS experience but having GCP certification. Application modernization and migration experience is must Proficiency in either AWS or GCP is essential. Having a certification in either AWS or GCP is required. However, preference will be given to candidates with GCP certification Expertise in Kubernetes and Java is highly desirable Remote candidates if we are not getting in MN, who are open to travel on need basis for workshops and meetings Any experience migrating Kafka workloads to Google Cloud will be a huge advantage Looking for a highly motivated and experienced Google Cloud Platform Architect in a customer-facing role. Ideal candidate will have a strong understand of GCP and be able to translate customer requirements to Cloud based solutions. The architect will also be responsible for building and managing a team of architects, as well as working with cross-functional teams to build business cases, POVs and lead conversations with the customer. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Mathematics or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience. Certifications Minimum: Google Professional Cloud Architect Alternate: Google Professional Data Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Developer 15+ years of total IT experience with 7+ years of experience in architecting, developing or maintaining production-grade enterprise applications on Cloud Experience with application assessment and migrations to Google Cloud Strong hands-on experience in Infrastructure - Landing zone creation including Networking, Security and configuring GKE enterprise standard environments. Awareness of Kafka configuration to GKE and migration , Large DB migration is an added advantage. Awareness of FinOps principles, DevOps principles, cloud management and operations tools Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills, with a focus on translating business requirements into technology solutions and vice versa. Experience in project governance and enterprise customer management Experience with Healthcare industry will be an added advantage. Willingness to travel around 10-20% of the time as needed. Responsibilities: Building business through taking thought leadership to customers and solving customer problems Identify and support GCP opportunities by providing solution and pre-sales support. Work with cross-functional teams to build business cases, POVs and lead conversations with customers. Collaborate with Clients to gather information, provide technical leadership to create landing zone ,configure and migrate environments. Stay up to date with the latest GCP services and technologies. Ability to learn and adapt new technology, concepts, and solutions, and apply those to solve customer problems. Providing governance and support to design, development, and implementation of cloud-based solutions.
