Job Title: VDI Project Manager Location: Princeton, NJ (Onsite) Job Description: In this role, you will play a crucial role in project management, with a focus on implementing VDI solutions to enhance workforce productivity and efficiency. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive project plans for VDI implementations, including scope definition, resource allocation, timelines, and deliverables. Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, define project objectives, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Lead cross-functional project teams consisting of architects, engineers, administrators, and vendors to execute VDI projects effectively and efficiently. Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project success, and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively. Minimum Qualifications / Skills Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years of experience managing VDI projects from initiation to closure. Familiarity with VDI technologies such as VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, or Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS), as well as cloud-based VDI solutions like Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate project teams to achieve project goals and overcome challenges.
