| Share resume to [email protected] Need Local from New York or New Jersey Only No H1B Position : Business Analyst with Commercial Loan Origination Priority: A Position Type: Contract Location: New York, NY, United States Onsite Flexibility: 80% Remote but must live in NYC/NJ area Must live in the NYC/NJ area to work onsite 1 day week Interview: MS-Teams Remarks: Looking for commercial loan origination experience (NOT MORTGAGE ORIGINATION), process automation, data mapping and system integration Working across front to back (meaning this is not a back office role where you are working on integration or configuration. This is a front office role where you are interacting with departments, teams, and applications). Lots of relationships being cared for. Handling loans for big corporate clients Must understand how loans work. Manage risk and profitability. These are multi-millions dollar loans. BIG LOANS Must understand whole process from intake request for loan until loan goes out. This project is the digitilization of the whole loan process Will build this process into Jira/Sprint, handle acceptance testing Extract workflows that business is working on currently Work with Account Management teams This is tackling large projects that will be long term Work onsite in NYC 277 Park Avenue 1x week Description: Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and front-to-back stakeholders to define business requirements covering the entire trade life cycle Oversee the creation and approval of core project documentation including business requirements, functional requirements, technical specifications, user acceptance testing. Independently extract highly detailed processes, understand issues, and synthesize simplified comprehensive solutions sitting with technology and business stakeholders. Documentation of all required meeting materials including business workflows, process workflows, field level details, user stories. Risk and issue identification, communication, and resolution. Working with functional leads and front-to-back stakeholders in the development of workstream strategy and delivery. Objectives planning, defining scope and deliverables Collaborate with stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and system architects, to understand business objectives and requirements. Work closely with development teams to define and document technical requirements, ensuring that all functional and non-functional aspects are addressed. Collaborate with business users to gather and document requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. Conduct regular status updates, communicate progress, and report on key metrics to project stakeholders and management. Provide training and support to end-users to ensure a smooth transition and adoption of the new processes/applications. Skills 5+ years of financial services experience as a Business Analyst or related role Strong understanding of Investment banking products ( Lending, DCM, ECM, Advisory, Credit ) . Experience working with a corporate investment bank = Must have Strong understanding of credit & middle office process workflow for lending products = must have Agile and Waterfall project experience, extensive Atlassian - JIRA experience Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze large datasets Experience in the development of program documentation as noted above Ability to execute, escalate, problem solve, present well and communicate clearly Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, SQL skills a requirement.
