| From: Awkash Kumar, Largeton INC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] JD ::Visa - USC/GC This position is responsible for Collaborating with Solutions Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, and Infrastructure Service Management teams in the design and build of infrastructure solutions/blueprints for area of responsibility; participating in the design and build of repeatable patterns (build-kits) to improve deployment times for non-prod and prod environments; transitioning knowledge to Infrastructure Operations. Job responsibilities will include the following: Design and Architecture of IBM MQ messaging platform, deploying enterprise layout of messaging platform as blueprint, installation and configuration of new platform, configuring or modifying platform, proactively monitoring the health of environment, configuring and managing the security of the platform. Job will also entail monitoring, optimizing, tuning and troubleshooting MQ messaging platform. The successful candidate will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in MQ and RDQM cluster and its related components. The candidate will be a self-motivated individual who works well with groups and independently with minimal supervision to achieve stated goals and project tasks. The candidate must have a high level of motivation in learning new technologies and software products and reviewing these technologies for enhancements to the current middleware environment. Required Job Qualifications: Operations Management and IT standards, procedures, and policies Expert level experience of IBM MQ standard-alone as well as RDQM HA cluster setup and configuration Experts level experience with MQ horizontal/vertical Clustering Strong ability to simplify & standardize complex concepts / processes Understanding of business priorities (e.g., vision), trends (e.g., industry knowledge) and markets (e.g., existing/ planned) Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required; teamwork and collaboration Strong ability for problem solving / analytical skills, tools and techniques with experience in troubleshooting MQ issues as well as other complex MQ and ACE issues Great knowledge with MQ monitoring tools, such as Dynatrace Great knowledge and experience around automation (ansible is preferred) Knowledge around Cloud and RedHat OpenShift (OCP and CP4I preferred) Ability to drive and manage services vendor on production issues Adaptability and ability to introduce / manage change with ServiceNow and JARI SME on understanding of AIX/RedHat/Windows administration and including basic shell scripting Preferred Job Qualifications: Bachelors Degree (Computer Science, MIS, or related degrees).
