Knowledge of API Testing and Selenium are needed. Project is related to Insurance Exchange (Fidx) Sr Quality Assurance Engineer As a Senior QA Engineer on the Client QA team, you have a passion for high quality software deliverables and client/end-user satisfaction. You are creative, self-starting, and demonstrate communication, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. You have an appetite for learning and can analyze problems to determine the root cause. You can work effectively on a remote team. You successfully collaborate with team members to fill information gaps. You are purposeful with a keen attention to detail. You are skilled at defining test cases and exploring expected outcomes. Duties and Responsibilities: Validate and certify UI and back-end changes for various strategic initiatives and feature enhancements with quality, while ensuring business requirements and client expectations are met Break down business requirements and user stories into well-defined and comprehensive functional test plans, test cases, and automation-ready test scripts Perform manual and automated testing of new enhancements, existing features, bugs and reported defects Ensure bugs and client-reported issues are triaged and tested per SLA Proactively escalate high priority issues and follow through with resolution Perform effective Root Cause Analysis and work with team on any corrective actions Document and track progress of defects and enhancements with clarity and accuracy Effectively create metrics and data from Jira to communicate within the team and with internal stakeholders on status of deliverables and key client initiatives Participate in scrum ceremonies, always acting in the capacity of a QA Ambassador, ensuring high standards of quality in all team activities and decisions Provide continued maintenance of automated and manual test scripts Develop a thorough understanding of the wealth platform to better understand testing needs and client expectations Ensure 0% defect leakage to Production Requirements and Qualifications: BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject 12+ years of proven experience in Software Quality Assurance 5+ years of experience creating automation tests in a Page Object Model Selenium WebDriver framework 5+ years hands-on automation experience 4+ years of experience in an Agile, CI/CD based environment 3+ years Proven experience with backend testing/API testing using Postman/Newman Strong knowledge of QA tools and processes Experience in creating and executing SQL scripts Expertise in VSCode and Gitlab High proficiency in developing and executing test cases with quality Great analytical, technical and problem-solving skills with complex multi-tier applications Detail-oriented and working knowledge of software testing tools and methodologies The ability to analyze problems, find bugs, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization Ability to learn and gain domain knowledge real-time Ability to collaborate seamlessly with a global team during all phases of SDLC Excellent oral and written communication skills Bonus Qualifications Basic financial industry knowledge Experience working in financial technology company Experience testing in an AWS environment Programming skill in JavaScript/Node JS Experience with React JS and microservice concepts Experience with performance testing (JMeter/Neoload) Experience with BrowserStack or mobile testing Experience with Cypress Regards, Rakesh Kumar VedaSoft Inc. www.vedasoftinc.com -- Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment quality analyst user interface javascript information technology microsoft Urgent Need - Sr Quality Assurance Engineer - REMOTE - must have atleast 12 yrs exp [email protected] |
