Role: Kafka Admin with strong scripting experience Location: NYC, NY & Alpharetta, GA - only local (Hybrid model 3 days from office) Job Description: Install, configure, and maintain Kafka clusters Monitor Kafka performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise Implement security measures to protect Kafka clusters from potential threats Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of Kafka with other systems Develop and maintain shell scripts for the automation of Kafka tasks Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures for Kafka clusters Stay up-to-date with the latest Kafka developments and best practices Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field Proven experience as a Kafka Admin Strong knowledge of Kafka architecture and its components Proficiency in shell scripting (e.g. Bash) Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana Knowledge of Kafka security protocols and best practices Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Please forward your resume to [email protected] or call me on P: +1 4692024944 if you need any further details.
