RECENT Care/Utilization Management experience within a healthplan. Leadership experience in QA. Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled QA Lead Consultant with extensive experience in planning and building user acceptance testing (UAT) and technology quality assurance (QA) within the realm of care management and utilization management processes or departments. This role requires leadership qualities to drive the QA strategy and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our care management and utilization management operations. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Healthcare Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership/consulting role. Strong understanding of care management and utilization management processes in healthcare organizations preferably Medicare/Medicaid/SMP Health Plans Experience with Utilization Management/Pop Health platforms including JIVA, GuidingCare, AssureCare, CCA, etc. Proficiency in designing and executing user acceptance testing strategies and methodologies. Experience with QA tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JIRA, Client Quality Center, etc. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Certification in quality assurance or project management (e.g., ISTQB, PMP) is a plus. Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with the goals and objectives of the care management and utilization management department. Collaborate with stakeholders to define quality standards, metrics, and benchmarks for testing processes. User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of UAT activities for new software implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. Work closely with business analysts and end-users to define UAT scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria. Ensure UAT tests cover all functional and non-functional requirements of the care management and utilization management systems. Technology Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain QA processes and procedures for technology solutions used in care management and utilization management. Conduct thorough reviews of software specifications, design documents, and code to identify defects and areas for improvement. Implement automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline QA processes and improve efficiency. Team Leadership and Collaboration: Provide leadership and guidance to QA analysts and testers, ensuring adherence to QA best practices and standards. Foster a collaborative work environment by facilitating communication and knowledge sharing among team members. Work closely with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to prioritize testing activities and resolve issues. Continuous Improvement: Monitor QA performance metrics and analyze trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Proactively identify and address potential risks and challenges to ensure the successful delivery of QA initiatives. Drive initiatives for process improvements, tool enhancements, and training programs to enhance the overall quality of care management and utilization management processes.
