Please share examples of previous projects theyve implemented with your submittal. Role description: We're looking for a dedicated resource to join our team as an Ansible developer. This resource should be able to drive a project from start to finish, from gathering requirements, drawing up a functional design, developing and testing the playbook, working with stakeholders to validate, and monitor/maintain the project over time. We have an existing resource who can assist with design, troubleshooting, and peer review, but the goal is for this resource to be fairly autonomous and able to run on their own after they get comfortable with our environment. As the platform owner, I can assist in helping manage the backlog of work and in some initial requirements gathering / use case vetting, but I would like to be able to hand off a project to this technical resource for them to take it from a good idea on paper to an implemented process. Candidate requirements/preferences: Good communication skills Needs to be able to interface both technical with internal team and functionally with stakeholders Needs to be able to create clear documentation on implemented solutions Strong technical experience with Ansible Looking for several years of experience Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and researching skills We have a small team we can provide some support, but self-guided learning where necessary is expected Some sort of Linux system administrator background/experience Many of our current use cases are at the OS and DB level so experience in these areas is desired Business analyst mindset Asking the right questions up front to get requirements from stakeholders Generating a functional description of the project goal Git version control We currently use GitLab experience preferred but not required so long as they are comfortable with Git version control PowerShell experience not required but appreciated The client has a single environment for GitLab and 2 Ansible Automation Platform environments (one for development/QA and one for production). -- -- Thanks & Regards..
