Visa: No h1b Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Healthcare IT Technical Writer to join our team. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating clear and concise documentation for various healthcare IT products and solutions. Your primary focus will be on producing user manuals, installation guides, release notes, API documentation, and other technical documents that cater to the needs of healthcare professionals, IT administrators, and end-users. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, product managers, and subject matter experts, to gather information and understand product features and functionalities. Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand documentation suitable for a diverse audience, including healthcare professionals and IT specialists. Create and maintain documentation for software applications, including user guides, system manuals, online help systems, and release notes. Develop and maintain documentation templates, style guides, and standards to ensure consistency and adherence to industry best practices. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure accuracy, completeness, and clarity of documentation. Conduct reviews and updates of existing documentation to reflect changes in software functionality, user interfaces, and regulatory requirements. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory standards related to healthcare IT documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field. Proven experience (8+ years) as a Technical Writer in the healthcare IT industry, preferably with knowledge of electronic health records (EHR), healthcare data exchange standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR), and healthcare compliance regulations (e.g., HIPAA). Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and MadCap Flare. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and documentation management platforms (e.g., Confluence) is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements.
