Telecommuting: Telecommuting is not allowed for this position. Background Client manages a 540 site Wide Area Network that supports all criminal justice agencies in the state of Florida. This network provides applications such FCIC, BIS, CCH, SexPred, Missing Children and many other applications to users statewide. The network team researches, troubleshoots, provides support and configures this network daily. Description of Services & Deliverables Client requires the services of one Network Security Analyst to work under the direction of Clients Network Supervisor to assist in managing security services of network resources to include routers, switches, firewalls, access points and VPNs. The Security Analyst is expected to work with our staff to perform research, solution architecture design, delivery, and configuration support. Security Analyst responsibilities include: Configure, Install and Troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, access points to meet Client security standards and practices. Help other IT members troubleshoot applications and systems. Help junior network members with assigned tasks while providing informal training. Research and implement security controls and configurations of network devices and solutions. Mandatory Skills and Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience; Minimum of 10+ years of IT work experience with demonstrated knowledge in architecture design, software development, database management systems and systems integration in multi-platform environments. Experience configuring routers, routing protocols, switches, and firewalls to adhere to industry security standards and frameworks. Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and cooperatively with project team members and stakeholders Ability to deliver assignments within the agreed schedule and of effective quality Knowledge of problem-solving techniques Possess strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to communicate effectively; ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments.
