Strong Server hardware trouble shooting skills (Dell Servers preferred). Practical understanding of networking such as network bonding, routing, subnets, UDP, TCP, IP, & VLANs. Understanding of Linux automation toolsets (Ansible, Puppet, etc) Self-motivated and able to work independently. Kubernetes integration and support experience, specific to OpenShift. Preferable Experience: Provides support for Linux/Centos/RHEL Servers and Infrastructure, both on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and on-site. Plans upgrades of hardware and applications / systems enhancements / OS patches / HW patches, firmware. Develops and conducts tests to ensure solutions meet documented user requirements. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system problems. Working knowledge of VMware virtualization using vCenter. Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) support experience. Performing hardware maintenance and repair activities using DRAC/ILOM. Respond, investigate, and resolve technical incidents requiring advanced problem-solving analysis and use of advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues. Scripting, automation, and familiarity with Puppet/Ansible is preferred. CI/CD, GitOps, DevOps experience and understanding.
